Dear Ones,

As winter deepens and we move toward February, I find myself thinking about what it means to gather—both in celebration of what’s been built and in honouring what wants to be nourished.

I’m holding two offerings this season: one where I’m facilitating in community with others, and a three-part series I’m bringing forward to honour Black History Month.

Blooming Through Community

Saturday, January 31, 2026 | 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

I’ll be facilitating for Adornment Stories at this beautiful community gathering—a celebration of their Moving Our Stories program that uplifts the mental wellness of Black queer and trans communities. Through music, storytelling, somatic engagement, and shared dialogue, we’ll explore how we continue to nourish ourselves and each other. This event is open to the wider community. Register through their website here.

Black History Month: A Somatic Nourishment Series

Centring Black African Diasporic women and gender expansive beings

A three-part virtual wellness series honouring ancestral wisdom and nourishing ourselves through embodied practice. Each offering stands alone—attend separately or all three.

All offerings are pay-what-you-can, virtual (Zoom), welcome all abilities, and require no previous experience.

Spirit & FIRE ~ A Somatic Movement and Dance Experience

Saturday, February 14, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST | 90 minutes
Fire as portal, warmth, and ancestral power. Through gentle, guided movement and dance, we’ll alchemize the blessings and gifts our ancestors have passed down—honouring their wisdom while carrying it forward in our own bodies.

Ancestral Hands – A Restorative Practice

Sunday, February 15, 2026 | 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM EST | 2 hours

What if rest is your medicine? Through guided somatic supportive touch, somatic awareness, and ancestral presence, we journey into the deep quietude where healing happens. Rest as radical reclamation. Rest as resistance.

Nourishing Self-Expression & Creativity

Sunday, February 22, 2026 | 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM EST | 2 hours

Your creative expression is a living extension of all who came before you. We’ll explore movement and dance, drawing, and writing—honouring that creative expression, particularly within Black culture, is necessity.
