Practice Consulting – Case consultation and professional development for embodied, somatic practitioners
This consultation service is offered to somatic therapists, somatic coaches, somatic movement and dance practitioners, embodied facilitators, and expressive arts practitioners who are looking to deepen their practice—whether through case consultation, professional guidance, or expanding their embodied skill set.
Drawing from over 40 years of dance and movement experience, 20 years of embodied somatic praxis, 15 years of training, education and practice in mental health and wellness including extensive training in Somatic Experiencing® (SE), Body-Mind Centering®, Embodied Experiential Anatomy, Developmental Somatic Psychotherapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy®, NeuroAffective Touch® (NAT) and various rhythmic movement training including Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis—alongside training in culturally attuned somatics—I bring a trauma-informed, socio-culturally attuned, anti-oppressive, and decolonial lens to each consultation. My approach employs the practice of humility and recognizes how race, culture, identity, and systems of power shape both the practitioner’s work and the experiences of those they serve.
My praxis includes working with movement, rhythm, and dance as pathways for meaning-making, processing, and embodied expression—rooted in African Diasporic cultural practices, ancestral memory, and embodied somatics as liberation practice.
Areas of focus may include, but are not limited to: working with complex and chronic trauma, racial and intergenerational trauma, diasporic experiences, chronic stress and illness, grief, life transitions, and the shaping of cultural and social identity. Sessions may be arranged as dyadic peer learning—split between two practitioners—to support mutual professional growth through shared experiential exploration.
Group rates are available for collective or cohort-based learning. Please inquire.
Scope: This is a professional practice consultation focused on somatic and embodied practice development. It is not clinical supervision and does not substitute for required psychotherapy supervision.

Note: You will be sent a brief consult questionnaire that will need to be returned 48 business hours in advance of your appointment in order to secure your booking. If you require more time with your forms you can simply reschedule by sending a new booking request for another time.
Practice Information
Sessions & Fees
- New practitioners starting out: $150/1hr | Established practitioners: $180/hr
- *All fees are in CAD. International clients are responsible for any applicable currency conversion or transaction fees, in addition to the session fee.
Payments
- Payment is processed through the online booking system portal before each session.
Session Availability
- Monday – Friday 10 AM – 4 PM EST
Communications
- I typically respond to client communications/requests within 48 business hours (Monday–Friday), excluding weekends and holidays.
Cancellation Policy
- 48 business hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule (excluding weekends and statutory holidays).
- The full session fee will be billed for missed or cancelled appointments without 48 business hours advance notice.
- Late arrivals beyond the 15-minute grace period are considered cancellations and incur the full session fee.
